They produce leaders that are employed in a wide variety of industries, businesses, associations, including accounting, financial services, healthcare, energy, sport management, marketing, sales, cybersecurity and executive leadership. Our speaker, John Finlayson, will be sharing information about the UC MBA program options that provide significant flexibility in supporting employees, military members and others in achieving their educational objectives. He will provide details on MBA concentrations, 100% online availability, potential tuition discounts and other questions from the members.

Our Speaker

John Finlayson joined AlignHR in 2019 as their Professional Development Strategist after a 34 year career in banking. He has diverse experience in many areas including corporate training and development, commercial lending, small business, general HR support, and relationship management. John is well known as an instructor at the WV School of Banking and for his integrated approach to helping people at all levels develop their potential. John retired from the West Virginia Air National Guard after 41 years at the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and holding the position of Training Manager at State Headquarters. John graduated from the University of Charleston with both BA & MBA degrees. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the University of Charleston in their MBA program where he works with graduate students with limited work experience to enhance their personal and professional development.
